I know I’m late to the show, but Radiohead’s album In Rainbows broke ground in many ways regarding the relationships between maker of music and consumer of music.  They told the industry to kiss off and offered it for anything you wanted to pay.  And they succeeded in giving power to the indies out there making and selling their own stuff.

But, what I want to relay here in this space is also the method by which the stunning video made for the song HOUSE OF CARDS was made.  They’ve taken cues from our world of design and integrated them into the mix by using “3D plotting technologies (which) collected information about the shapes and relative distances of objects.”  No lights, no cameras, just digital scanning of the players within the video.  And it’s cool
