As a fan of forward thinking fiction, or science fiction, or fantasy, or dreaming, I am intensely fascinated in the posts written over at Bldg Blog.  I’m sure you’ve all already seen it, but I wanted to point out the brilliant work in sourcing out cool projects, articles and books that lean towards telling stories of what could be, or what may have been, all with a technological twist.

Particularly enjoyable is this post with illustrations depicting post-flood New York and Tokyo that may or may not be plausible future scenarios (judging from melting ice caps, maybe more true than not,) but are quite interesting nonetheless.
